It is with sadness that the PAF Advisory Board learnt of the death of Philip ‘Phil’ Good on 5th December 2017. He was one of the first people to understand the importance of the postcode in identifying an address for the purposes of delivery of mail and parcels and developed a postcode recognition business in 1982.
Phil founded the solutions provider Hopewiser, initially as a home-based business, leading it to a position where Hopewiser is recognised as a leading global business in the addressing market, offering a wide range of addressing solutions.
The industry has lost one of its strong characters, never afraid of a challenging discussion. The PAF Advisory Board wishes to extend condolences to Phil’s family and colleagues at his passing.
